If you go with the koi pattern, then I would suggest going with a gold, black, and white pattern that I have seen on some. Its just my personal opinion, but I feel that the gold reminds me more of eastern dragons.

If you want to stick to an Asian theme, gold would be nice as it would represent statues. Cherry blossoms are a bit more specific, as are koi, in a way.
But all have nice Asian themes.

An all gold one would be nice, like a golden statue. Another idea would be zebra print one, with a black mane and stripes all over its body.

I think the koi dragons would be so cool, with maybe like gold accents. Or purple lol you know I love purple
